Bu politika, Talebird uygulamasının ("uygulama", "biz") hangi bilgileri neden işlediğini ve seçeneklerini açıklar. Uygulama, verini olabildiğince telefonunda tutacak şekilde tasarlandı.

1. Telefonunda kalan bilgiler

Uygulama hesap istemez. Eklediğin kitaplar (EPUB dosyaları), kapaklar, okuma ve dinleme yerin, yer imlerin, vurgu ve notların, okuma/dinleme istatistiklerin ve ayarların yalnızca telefonunda saklanır. Kitapların, notların ve okuma bilgilerin Talebird'ün sunucularına yüklenmez. Uygulamayı kaldırmak ya da verilerini silmek bunların hepsini siler.

Telefonda üretilen sesler. Türkçe ve İngilizce kitaplar tamamen telefonunda, yapay zekâ modelleriyle seslendirilir; bu kitapların cümleleri hiçbir yere gönderilmez. Bu ses modelleri ("ses paketleri") ilk kurulumda ya da Ayarlar › Ses paketleri'nden bir kez, Talebird'in Google Firebase Storage alanından indirilir; indirme sırasında Google, her internet isteğinde olduğu gibi cihazının IP adresini görür, kitaplarından ya da sesli okumandan hiçbir bilgi gönderilmez. İlk kurulumda seçtiğin okuma dilleri telefonunda saklanır ve aşağıdaki kullanım verilerinde anonim olarak sayılır (hangi dillerin seçildiği, hangi ses paketinin indirildiği).

Geri bildirim. Ayarlar › Destek'ten gönderdiğin mesajlar ve okurken "Bildir" ile gönderdiğin yanlış okunan cümleler, Talebird'in Google Firebase Firestore alanına (Avrupa Birliği) kaydedilir. Kaydedilenler: yazdığın metin ya da seçtiğin cümle, kitabın adı (okunuş bildiriminde), uygulama sürümü, uygulama ve okuma dillerin; onay kutusunu işaretlersen telefon modeli ve Android sürümü. E-posta yalnızca sen yazarsan eklenir ve yalnızca sana dönmek için kullanılır. Bu kayıtları yalnızca Talebird ekibi okuyabilir; silinmesini istersen bize yaz.

Sesli okuma (diğer diller). Diğer dillerde sesli okuma için o an okunan cümleler, sesi üretmesi amacıyla Talebird'ün ses sunucusuna (tts.anonim.work, Cloudflare üzerinden) gönderilebilir. Cümleler yalnızca ses üretmek için kullanılır; kaydedilmez, günlüğe yazılmaz ve başka bir amaçla işlenmez. Sunucu, kötüye kullanımı sınırlamak için yalnızca istek sayısını ve uzunluğunu kısa süre bellekte tutar. Türkçe ve İngilizce cümleler bu sunucuya hiç gönderilmez.

Uygulama doğrulaması. Sunucuya yalnızca Google Play'den kurulmuş gerçek Talebird uygulamasının bağlandığını doğrulamak için Google Play Integrity API ile Firebase App Check kullanılır. Bu doğrulamada Google, cihazın ve uygulamanın bütünlüğüne dair bilgiler işler; kitap içeriği, notlar ya da okuma bilgileri gönderilmez.

Telefonun metin okuma motoru. Sunucuya ulaşılamadığında Türkçe olmayan bir kitabı dinlersen, okunan cümleler telefonunda kurulu metin okuma motoruna (örneğin Google Konuşma Hizmetleri) verilir ve ses o motor tarafından üretilir. Talebird telefona yüklü, çevrimdışı çalışan sesleri tercih eder; motorun metni nasıl işlediği motorun kendi gizlilik koşullarına tabidir (Google için: policies.google.com/privacy).

2. İsteğe bağlı kitap bilgisi tamamlama (Open Library)

Bir kitabın sayfasında "İnternetten tamamla" dersen, eksik bilgileri bulmak için yalnızca o kitabın ISBN numarası ya da adı ve ilk yazarı Internet Archive'ın Open Library hizmetine (openlibrary.org) gönderilir; bulunan kapak resmi de oradan indirilir. Bu istek yalnızca sen başlattığında yapılır; kitabın kendisi, notların ve okuma bilgilerin gönderilmez. Open Library'nin gizlilik politikası: archive.org/about/terms.

Ücretsiz kitaplar. "Ücretsiz kitaplar" bölümündeki seçkimiz Talebird'in kendi sitesinden (talebird.web.app, Google Firebase Hosting) indirilir. Gutenberg sekmesinde yazdığın arama kelimeleri Talebird sunucusundaki Project Gutenberg dizininde aranır (kaydedilmez); seçtiğin kitap ve kapaklar doğrudan Project Gutenberg'den (gutenberg.org) indirilir. Vikikaynak sekmesinde arama kelimelerin Wikimedia'ya (wikisource.org) gönderilir ve seçtiğin eser Wikimedia'nın WS Export hizmetiyle (ws-export.wmcloud.org) indirilir; bu hizmetlerin kendi gizlilik koşulları geçerlidir (Wikimedia gizlilik politikası). Bu isteklerde senden başka bir bilgi gönderilmez; her web isteğinde olduğu gibi sunucular IP adresini ve isteğin zamanını kısa süreli olarak kaydedebilir.

3. Kullanım ve çökme verileri (Google Firebase)

Uygulamayı iyileştirmek ve çökmeleri düzeltmek için Firebase Analytics ve Firebase Crashlytics kullanılır. Bu hizmetler uygulama kullanım olaylarını (örneğin "dinleme başlatıldı"), cihaz modelini, işletim sistemi ve uygulama sürümünü, uygulama örneği kimliğini ve çökme ayrıntılarını toplar. Ayrıca Firebase Performance Monitoring ile uygulamanın açılış süresi, ekranların akıcılığı, sesin başlama süresi ve Talebird sitesine / Open Library'ye yapılan isteklerin süresi ölçülür. Hangi ekranların açıldığı, dinleme ve okuma süreleri, kullanılan özellikler (ör. vurgu ekleme, paylaşım kartı, ayar değişiklikleri) gibi kullanım olayları da toplanır. Bu veriler kitap metni, kitap adı, not ya da arama kelimesi içermez; seni tanımlamak ya da reklam için kullanılmaz. 4. Satın almalar

İsteğe bağlı Talebird Pro satın alımı Google Play tarafından işlenir. Ödeme bilgilerini almayız ve saklamayız.

5. Reklam

Uygulamada reklam yoktur.

6. Çocuklar

Uygulama 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve onlardan bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamayız.

7. Hakların

KVKK ve GDPR gibi düzenlemeler kapsamında kişisel verilerine erişme, düzeltme, silme ve işlenmesine itiraz etme hakkın olabilir. Uygulama verileri telefonunda tutulur ve uygulamayı kaldırdığında silinir. Diğer talepler için bize yaz.

8. Değişiklikler

Uygulama değiştikçe bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Yukarıdaki tarih son sürümü gösterir.

This policy explains what information the Talebird app ("the app", "we") processes, why, and what choices you have. The app is designed to keep your data on your phone.

1. Information stored on your device

The app does not require an account. The books you add (EPUB files), covers, your reading and listening position, bookmarks, highlights and notes, reading/listening statistics and settings are stored only on your device. Your books, notes and reading data are not uploaded to Talebird's servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of this.

Voices made on your phone. Turkish and English books are voiced entirely on your device by AI models; the sentences of these books are never sent anywhere. These voice models ("voice packs") are downloaded once, at first setup or from Settings › Voice packs, from Talebird's Google Firebase Storage space; as with any internet request, Google sees your device's IP address during the download, and nothing about your books or listening is sent. The reading languages you pick at setup are stored on your device and counted anonymously in the usage data below (which languages were picked, which voice pack was downloaded).

Feedback. Messages you send from Settings › Support and sentences you report as read wrong with "Report" are stored in Talebird's Google Firebase Firestore space (European Union). What is stored: the text you write or the sentence you selected, the book's title (for pronunciation reports), the app version, your app and reading languages and, if you tick the box, your phone model and Android version. An email is added only if you type one and is used only to reply to you. Only the Talebird team can read these records; write to us if you want them deleted.

Read-aloud (other languages). To read a book in another language aloud, the sentences being read may be sent to Talebird's voice server (tts.anonim.work, through Cloudflare) so that it can generate the speech. The sentences are used only to generate speech; they are not stored, not logged and not processed for any other purpose. To limit abuse, the server keeps only the number and length of requests in memory for a short time. Turkish and English sentences are never sent to this server.

App verification. To make sure only the genuine Talebird app installed from Google Play reaches the server, Firebase App Check with the Google Play Integrity API is used. For this check Google processes information about the integrity of the device and the app; no book content, notes or reading data are sent.

Your phone's text-to-speech engine. When the server can't be reached and you listen to a book that isn't in Turkish, the sentences being read are passed to the text-to-speech engine installed on your phone (for example Google Speech Services), which generates the speech. Talebird prefers voices installed on the phone that work offline; how the engine handles the text is governed by the engine's own privacy terms (for Google: policies.google.com/privacy).

2. Optional book details lookup (Open Library)

If you tap "Complete from the internet" on a book's page, only that book's ISBN or its title and first author are sent to the Internet Archive's Open Library service (openlibrary.org) to find missing details, and a matching cover image may be downloaded from it. This happens only when you start it; the book itself, your notes and reading data are never sent. See archive.org/about/terms.

Free books. Our picks in the "Free books" section are downloaded from Talebird's own website (talebird.web.app, Google Firebase Hosting). On the Gutenberg tab, the words you search for are looked up in the Project Gutenberg index on Talebird's server (they are not stored); the book you choose and the covers are downloaded directly from Project Gutenberg (gutenberg.org). On the Wikisource tab, your search words are sent to Wikimedia (wikisource.org) and the work you choose is downloaded through Wikimedia's WS Export service (ws-export.wmcloud.org); their own privacy terms apply (Wikimedia privacy policy). No other information about you is sent; as with any web request, the servers may briefly log your IP address and the time of the request.

3. Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to improve the app and fix crashes. They collect app usage events (for example "listening started"), device model, operating system and app version, an app-instance identifier and crash details. We also use Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure app start time, screen smoothness, how long speech takes to start and the duration of requests to the Talebird website and Open Library. Usage events such as which screens are opened, listening and reading time and which features are used (for example adding a highlight, the quote card, settings changes) are collected too. This data contains no book text, titles, notes or search words and is not used to identify you or for advertising. Turn off Settings › Share usage data to stop analytics, performance and crash data collection. See Firebase privacy information.

4. Purchases

The optional Talebird Pro purchase is processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details.

5. Advertising

The app shows no ads.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the Turkish KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. App data is stored on your device and deleted when you uninstall the app. For any other request, contact us.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above shows the latest version.

Diese Erklärung beschreibt, welche Daten die App Talebird („die App“, „wir“) verarbeitet, zu welchem Zweck und welche Wahlmöglichkeiten du hast (Informationen nach Art. 13 DSGVO). Die App ist so gebaut, dass deine Daten auf deinem Gerät bleiben.

1. Daten auf deinem Gerät

Die App braucht kein Konto. Deine Bücher (EPUB-Dateien), Cover, Lese- und Hörposition, Lesezeichen, Markierungen und Notizen, Statistiken und Einstellungen werden nur auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und nicht auf Talebird-Server hochgeladen. Stimmen auf deinem Gerät: Türkische und englische Bücher werden vollständig auf deinem Gerät von KI-Modellen vertont; ihre Sätze werden nirgendwohin gesendet. Diese Stimmmodelle („Stimmpakete“) werden einmalig bei der Einrichtung oder unter Einstellungen › Stimmpakete aus dem Google-Firebase-Storage-Bereich von Talebird geladen; dabei sieht Google wie bei jeder Internetanfrage die IP-Adresse deines Geräts, Inhalte deiner Bücher werden nicht übertragen. Die bei der Einrichtung gewählten Lesesprachen werden auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und in den Nutzungsdaten unten anonym gezählt. Feedback: Nachrichten aus Einstellungen › Support und mit „Melden“ gemeldete, falsch gelesene Sätze werden im Google-Firebase-Firestore-Bereich von Talebird (Europäische Union) gespeichert: dein Text bzw. der gewählte Satz, der Buchtitel (bei Aussprachemeldungen), die App-Version, App- und Lesesprachen und, wenn du es ankreuzt, Handymodell und Android-Version. Eine E-Mail nur, wenn du sie eingibst, und nur für die Antwort. Nur das Talebird-Team kann die Einträge lesen; auf Wunsch löschen wir sie (Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a und b DSGVO). Vorlesen (andere Sprachen): Zum Vorlesen in anderen Sprachen können die gerade gelesenen Sätze an den Sprachserver von Talebird (tts.anonim.work, über Cloudflare) gesendet werden, der daraus die Stimme erzeugt. Die Sätze werden nur dafür verwendet, weder gespeichert noch protokolliert noch anderweitig verarbeitet (Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO); gegen Missbrauch hält der Server nur Anzahl und Länge der Anfragen kurz im Speicher. Türkische und englische Sätze werden nie an diesen Server gesendet. Damit nur die echte, aus Google Play installierte App den Server erreicht, nutzen wir Firebase App Check mit der Google Play Integrity API; dabei verarbeitet Google Angaben zur Integrität von Gerät und App, ohne Buchinhalte. Hörst du dann ein Buch, das nicht auf Türkisch ist, werden die vorgelesenen Sätze an die auf deinem Handy installierte Sprachausgabe (z. B. Google Speech Services) übergeben, die die Stimme erzeugt. Talebird bevorzugt installierte, offline nutzbare Stimmen; für die Verarbeitung durch die Sprachausgabe gelten deren Datenschutzbestimmungen (Google: policies.google.com/privacy). Deinstallieren oder „Daten löschen“ entfernt alles.

2. Optionale Buchangaben (Open Library)

Wählst du auf einer Buchseite „Aus dem Internet ergänzen“, werden nur die ISBN oder Titel und erster Autor dieses Buchs an Open Library (openlibrary.org, Internet Archive) gesendet; ein passendes Cover kann von dort geladen werden. Das geschieht nur auf deine Aktion hin (Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Kostenlose Bücher: Unsere Auswahl wird von talebird.web.app (Google Firebase Hosting) geladen. Im Tab Gutenberg werden deine Suchwörter im Project-Gutenberg-Index auf dem Talebird-Server gesucht (nicht gespeichert); das gewählte Buch und die Cover kommen direkt von Project Gutenberg (gutenberg.org). Im Tab Wikisource gehen deine Suchwörter an Wikimedia (wikisource.org), und das gewählte Werk wird über den Wikimedia-Dienst WS Export (ws-export.wmcloud.org) geladen; dort gilt die Wikimedia-Datenschutzrichtlinie. Weitere Angaben über dich werden nicht gesendet; die Server können wie bei jedem Webaufruf kurzzeitig IP-Adresse und Zeitpunkt protokollieren.

3. Nutzungs- und Absturzdaten (Google Firebase)

Mit Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics und Performance Monitoring erfassen wir Nutzungsereignisse (z. B. „Vorlesen gestartet“, geöffnete Bildschirme, Lese- und Hördauer, genutzte Funktionen), Gerätemodell, System- und App-Version, eine App-Instanz-Kennung, Ladezeiten und Absturzdetails, um die App zu verbessern und Fehler zu beheben (berechtigtes Interesse, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Die Daten enthalten keinen Buchtext, keine Titel, Notizen oder Suchbegriffe und werden nicht für Werbung genutzt. Google kann Daten auch außerhalb der EU verarbeiten (EU-Standardvertragsklauseln). Mit Einstellungen › Nutzungsdaten teilen schaltest du die Erfassung jederzeit ab. Siehe Firebase-Datenschutz.

4. Käufe

Der optionale Kauf von Talebird Pro wird von Google Play abgewickelt. Zahlungsdaten erhalten und speichern wir nicht.

5. Werbung

Die App zeigt keine Werbung.

6. Kinder

Die App richtet sich nicht an Kinder unter 13 (in der EU unter 16 ohne Zustimmung der Eltern); wir erheben wissentlich keine Daten von ihnen.

7. Deine Rechte

Du hast das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren. App-Daten liegen auf deinem Gerät und werden beim Deinstallieren gelöscht. Für andere Anfragen schreib uns.

8. Änderungen

Wir können diese Erklärung anpassen, wenn sich die App ändert. Das Datum oben zeigt die aktuelle Fassung.
